National team Russia predictably defeated team Germany in quarter-final of the World championship

The last participant of semi-final has been defined on the World championship in Khabarovsk. In the final match of the day national team Russia predictably won over national team Germany – 26:1. That match became a historical one since the teams met for the first time.

Each national team was pursuing own goals: German players were learning from masters, and Russian team was practicing patterns at high speed. Turning pressure up at times was hindering to finish attacks. The first ball few in Viktor Rud's goal cage only on 11 minute – Sergey Lomanov opened the score. In that match he beat the record and became the best sharpshooter of all world championships. Germans were occasionally approaching Roman Chernykh's goal cage, however they didn't manage to score. The first half ended up with the score of 17:0.

After halftime, only eight Russian players went out onto the ice, however already with such line-up they managed to carry on attacking and eventually scored 11 balls. Germans finally managed to excel – in the very beginning of the match with corner-stroke Andrej Völker, the defender, sent the ball into Roman Chernykh's goal cage.
