Andrej Völker: We enjoyed playing with Russia

National team Germany suffered a devastating defeat from national team Russia in the final quarter-final match of the World championship. Andrej Völker, National team Germany defender, confessed that despite that players enjoyed the match.

"It is hard to play with national team Russia. Our teams have a bit different levels, I would even say completely different. But it is a very good experience to play with such reputed masters. We enjoyed the game", - told Andrej Völker.

The defender became the scorer for the only goal by national team Germany. According to his confession, it became possible owing to good pass from team partner with corner-stroke. The team was lacking skills when executing other set plays. Nevertheless, players remained happy with their playing on the World championship.

"Playing in group A is as good as good experience, after matches with such team we will be growing further and achieving new successes", - noted Andrej Völker.
