All the participants of the Bandy World Championship come to Khabarovsk on one flight. The national teams will gather in Moscow and then go to the Far-Eastern capital. Considering the number of the sportsmen aboard we can name the flight as ‘Bandy flight’

The participants of the championship are 8 national teams from Germany, Kazakhstan, Canada, Norway, Russia, the USA, Finland and Sweden. The special trained volunteers will meet them at the airports and see them to Khabarovsk.

The national teams will be met in Moscow airport ‘Sheremetyevo’ by our volunteers who are Khabarovsk citizens living, working and studying in the capital now. They will meet the national teams and see them to the Khabarovsk flight’ – said Tatiana Mandrykina, the bandy world championship 2018 volunteer coordinator.

Not only the plane but the Khabarovsk airport will be prepared for the national teams meeting. It will be decorated with the banners with the championship symbolism on them. The air terminal building reconstruction will not cause any problems as the territory will be protected with barrier. The banners also will inform the passengers about the main sport event.

Before the participants and guests come, the workers of the regional division of Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare will check all the hotels where the sportsmen, judges and VIP-guests will stay. The organizers have already chosen six places. The list was approved by Boris Skrynnik, the International Bandy Federation president.
